This painting from the series “Ghosts Of The Prairie” is set in a wooded area. Something about stumbling upon a lot of old rusting cars in the woods is somewhat unsettling but I can not explain why. Ghosts Of The Prairie Night

This is the first and only painting of this series so far that depicts a night scene.  Getting the colors right was fun. I was tempted to add stars and do some other things with the sky but thought it started to take away from the subjects pictured.  Right now there are twelve paintings in this series so there is enough art now  for a calendar, note cards and some other merchandise.
