50th Homecoming Anniversary
I Just completed the painting shown here surrounded by some of the teammates from the team that brought football back to St. Ambrose in 1974. The painting is titled “Ghosts In The Attic” and it features memorabilia and all the memories that goes with the stuff that is stored in every ex football players attic. This piece of art was created to recognize and celebrate this teams 50th year anniversary. It is hard to believe fifty years have passed since coach Kilfoy was coaching us through that inaugural season. The players on this team hold a special place in the history of St. Ambrose Athletics and as part of the SAU football alumni brotherhood I can’t wait to see them again.
Prints will be available of this painting by mid October.
Robbinsdale Firefighters Painting
The Robbinsdale Minnesota fire department posed for this photo with this art piece that I created to commemorate the life and service of fallen fire fighter Thomas Hollingsworth. His helmet with his number 7 is draped in the American flag as a powerful symbol of his sacrifice. The Robbinsdale fire department came together to pose with the artwork I want to personally extend my sincere appreciation to all of these courageous firefighters for their selfless service.
